I chose my mother, Terri Glenn, as my mentor for many reasons. She has shaped me into the person I am today and I have learned so much from her. I give her all the credit for who I am and she has taught me many values about life. She is the most selfless person I know and puts others and their happiness before herself. She is also very outgoing and loves to interact with others, which is where I get that part of me from. She knows everyone in some way and is not shy about it. My mom influenced me to always be considerate of others and treat others how I want to be treated. She also stresses to me that my work determines everything so if I want something bad, I have to work for it just as hard. I’ve learned that nothing can come easy and I have to be motivated and determined for what I want. I’ve learned everything from my mom. She is the reason I have such advanced leadership skills and considerate of others. I’ve learned basic values and skills of life and how to interact with others. She has taught me to be a mature and respecting person to everyone and I give her all the credit when anyone compliments my character. She is my mentor because she is the reason I am who I am.
